on the road again...With summer officially behind us, it’s time for us to get back on the road to continue DHISCO’s mission of connecting the world. (Yes, we really do say that! And we mean it.)
This week we’re headed to Sao Paolo for the ABAV International Tourism Fair, one of the biggest tourism events in Brazil. Then it’s off to Buenos Aires for another big show, FIT Latin America, one of the region’s top international travel events.
Despite some softness from recent economic, political and Zika issues, Latin America remains an important and growing market for many travel companies.
In addition to a boom in new hotel development over the last decade, more and more Latin American travelers are looking beyond their traditional domestic regional vacation spots to international destinations, particularly in North American and Europe.
These trends create new opportunities for both our supply and demand partners.
As in other emerging tourism markets, many travel agencies and tour companies in Latin America still handle content very manually. They are looking for a partner who can automate their processes and provide translations into local languages.
Travel sellers also want better connections to global chains and the ability to move from FIT rates to dynamic rates. As wholesalers move to dynamic rates, they need a partner to provide seamless, one-to-many connectivity to major suppliers.
As the world’s leading hospitality distribution company with the largest and most reliable infrastructure, it’s rewarding to travel to these events and demonstrate how DHISCO is a one-stop shop that meets all of their needs.
Tapping into these emerging markets also opens new opportunities for our supply and demand partners across the globe. After all, in addition to connecting the world, one of our guiding missions is to provide intelligent distribution solutions that drive our partners’ success.
If you’re at either of these shows, look us up and let us show you how.
